TYO-Canada is a youth administered organization functioning as the central communication link for Tamil youth nationwide. By harnessing the strength found in the solidarity of youth, TYO strives to serve the Tamil community, both in Canada and abroad. The organization’s aim includes developmental projects and initiatives to better the lives of the Tamil population in North-eastern Sri Lanka. Through such initiatives TYO promotes awareness and provides an avenue to better understand the humanitarian situation in our homeland.

As an organization with the interests of Tamil Youth at heart, TYO provides opportunities for Canadian Tamil youth to network, contribute, and develop their skills in various areas.

Initiated in 2003, TYO continues to be a forerunner in uniting the voices of Tamil youth of Canada.

தமிழ் இளையோர் அமைப்பு - கனடா  இளைஞர்களால்  கனடாவில் வாழும் இளையோரிற்கிடையான ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்ட தொடர்பூடக அமைப்பாக செயற்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. கனடா மற்றும் உலக நாடுகளில் வாழும் தமிழ் சமூகத்திற்கு சேவைசெய்வதை தமிழ் இளையோர் அமைப்பு நோக்காகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. இலங்கையில் வடக்கு மற்றும் கிழக்கில் வாழும் தமிழ் மக்களின் வாழ்க்கைத் தேவைக்கு உதவக்கூடிய முன்னேற்பாடுகளிலும் அபிவிருத்தித் திட்டங்களிலும் தமிழ் இளையோர் அமைப்பு நாட்டம் கொண்டுள்ளது. இவற்றின் மூலம் தாயகத்தில் வாழும் மக்களின் மனித உரிமைப் பிரச்சினைகளை வெளிக்கொண்டு வருவதற்கான களத்தினை, கவனயீர்ப்பைப் பெறுவதிலும் உதவி செய்கிறது.

தமிழ் இளையோரிற்கான முதன்மை அமைப்பாக விளங்கும் தமிழ் இளையோர் அமைப்பு கனடியத் தமிழ் இளையோரின் திறன்களை அவர்களின் தளங்களில் வெளிப்படுத்தவும் வாய்ப்புகளை வழங்குகின்றது.

2003 இல் தொடங்கப்பட்ட தமிழ் இளையோர் அமைப்பு கனடியத் தமிழ் இளையோரின் குரல்களை ஒன்றுபடுத்தும் அமைப்பாக தொடர்ந்தும் செயற்படுகிறது.
